Civil Engineering
The Civil Engineering (CE) Department (290 people) is the technical skills centre for the areas of Civil Engineering and the Technical Coordination of buildings. It is involved in all new nuclear projects in France and abroad.
Piping and Valve Design
The role of the Piping and Valve Design Department are: to design the piping systems for nuclear islands and to specify and monitor the technical management of piping and valve contracts, to produce computer-aided mechanical designs and to manage the valve and piping activities for Edvance.
General Installation
The General Installation Department carries out the engineering studies required for the installation of structures, systems and components for nuclear islands in EPR-type power plants in France and abroad. It oversees the gradual creation of 3D models of nuclear island buildings and produces interface data to support other departments (civil engineering, contracts, piping, systems, etc.).
Ventilation Systems Contracts
Within Edvance, the Ventilation Systems Contracts (SCV) Department is the technical skills centre for fluid systems (air and water) and the technical management of ventilation and cooling contracts. It is responsible for the design of more than 80 fluid systems (water or air) for nuclear islands.
Mechanical Equipment Design
The Mechanical Equipment Design Department carries out design studies and manages the associated contracts for the mechanical equipment for the nuclear islands of new power plants: pumps, exchangers, reservoirs and handling equipment.
Technical Integration
The Edvance Technical Directorate (DTE) is the centre of expertise for technical integration jobs that can be exercised in the Engineering, Construction and Commissioning Department (DIT) or in the various EPR projects (Flamanville 3, Hinkley Point C, EPR2, etc.).
Project management
Edvance Quality, Methods & Tools Directorate (EPO) monitors the competences for project management disciplines, which are performed on the various EPR projects (Flamanville 3, Hinkley Point C, EPR2, Sizewell C ...).
