Edvance carries out the projects of a new, safe and high‑performance nuclear industry around the world to build a CO₂‑neutral future.
Hinkley Point C
2 EPR reactors with a capacity of 1600 MWe each are currently under construction in Somerset. Edvance is responsible for the engineering of the nuclear island, as well as for the technical installation, bringing all of its skills to the project: civil engineering studies for the construction, process and equipment specifications for the electromechanical assemblies, preparation of future commissioning tests for the two reactors and verification of the safety of the installation.
Sizewell C
A replica of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C (3.2 GW) will house two EPR reactors that will produce low-carbon electricity representing 7% of the UK's production. Edvance will be the architect and "Lead Designer" of the Sizewell C nuclear island and will carry out the engineering studies to adapt the EPR to the specific requirements of the site.
Flamanville 3
The first project in France to build a new generation EPR (European Pressurized Reactor) power plant. Edvance is providing the engineering and managing the majority of the contracts for the nuclear island, supporting the site with construction and testing through its local engineering department and contributing to the preparation of the engineering for the "facilities in operation after fuel loading".
EPR2
An optimised version of the EPR, the EPR2 aims to renew part of France's nuclear fleet and to become part of the diversified, low-carbon energy mix of the future. Through its EPCCi role, Edvance is the architect of the EPR2 nuclear island.
Jaitapur
With 6 nuclear reactors, the JNPP project is the most ambitious EPR project to date. As a subcontractor of EDF, Edvance will deliver the engineering and manage the contracting of the nuclear island of the planned power plant.
